I am a content creation and digital marketing professional with a background in the equine industry. Though I am employed by the equine conglomerate Big Lick LLC, I spend most of my time working for its subsidiary, Black Prong, a unique nature and equestrian resort in North Central, FL. While I truly enjoy any opportunity to be creative in my work, it is my ability to identify systemic organizational challenges and collaborate to implement cross-department solutions that led to my supervisors adding “strategy” to my title. I am now an active part of the team that leads company growth at Black Prong.

A Horse Girl at Heart

My two childhood passions, horses and art, became evident as soon as I could hold a pencil and draw (you can guess my preferred subject matter.) I began riding horses after school at a young age and developed my creative abilities in art class and on my own. At the University of Florida, I first studied equine science, then continued to complete a Master of Science in Agricultural Communication, where I built my skills in digital design and strategic communication. These dual passions converged to launch my career in equine media and will always have a special place in my heart.

In recent years, my professional interests have grown beyond the equine focus, and I am actively seeking opportunities to apply my skillset in new areas.
